Install the LTE Router
Your support specialist will confirm router placement
during the Step 1 call. General guidelines:
Bend all 4 antennas straight up. Do not force past vertical.
Place in a central location on an elevated surface, ideally near a window.
Keep at least 2 feet from other electronics (TV, cable box, other Wi-Fi router, power supplies).
Plug the power cord into the router, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
Power light should turn on. If not: confirm outlet has power or try a different outlet.
Wait 2–3 minutes for the router to connect before proceeding to Step 3.
No LTE Signal? We will suggest you
use Ethernet Instead
Your specialist will notify you if the LTE connection is
insufficient at this address.
Locate the home’s existing internet router (provided by their ISP).
Plug one end of the ethernet cord into the WAN/Internet port on the Lifeguard router.
Plug the other end into any available LAN port on the home’s internet router.
Router Separation — Important
Keep the two routers at least 2 feet apart. Do not stack or place on the same shelf.
Install the Hub
Your specialist will confirm hub placement during
the Step 1 call.
Place the hub in the same room as the router.
For larger homes, the specialist may advise a more central location.

Solid blue = connected
Hub still red after 5 minutes? Move it closer to the router.
